It was my pleasure to present a NALC watch to Dennis as he celebrated with co workers in the Ridley Park Post Office. Everyone was on hand to say their goodbyes and well wishes. There was even a moving speech made by Nancy
Benson which brought everyone to tears. Please join me in wishing Dennis a very happy and healthy retirement.

IN RECOGNITION OF PAUL A. GRAF, JR.
HON. PATRICK MEEHAN
IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Tuesday, March 22, 2016
Mr. Speaker, I rise today to applaud Paul A. Graf, Jr. for his swift and courageous action to protect a family and their pets from an apartment fire. Mr. Graf is a letter carrier for the
United States Postal Service. On February 16, 2016 while on his route, he noticed smoke coming from an apartment. He called 9-1-1 and took immediate action to make sure that
there was no one inside the apartment. Mr. Graf’s actions prevented a possibly life-threatening tragedy. The Ridley Park community he serves and the greater Philadelphia area
are grateful for his vigilance and hard work on the job.

Hero Paul Graf - Ridley Park / Woodlyn Office
Andy Kearney, Webmaster
Congrats to Paul Graf for your heroic act . A Letter Carrier like you is what makes us all looked upon as someone that not just delivers the mail and parcels. We are aware of the neighborhoods we deliver and
what is out of place. You not only saved that family but their pets as well. It is nice to see that you were acknowledged for your prompt act by the Ridley Park Borough. I am sure the people on your Route
appreciate you as well. You make them feel they are safer having you around six days a week. What you did shows how important all Letter Carriers are to the communities we serve.
