Brothers and sisters,
It was my pleasure to share some time with you during the past couple of weeks as part of the route adjustment process. You are all hardworking people with a passion for what you do. It was especially fun to exchange our views "carrier style". While I agree with 99% of what you expressed, I will always try to take time to give some of the unfortunate realities that this union faces. And even when we disagree, it is vitally important that we leave each other with an understanding of unity. Together we can manage to get "some" things accomplished. But divided, we will accomplish "nothing" at all.

I would especially like to thank Bob Mellne for his hard work for your office by calling and following up on all the issues. You have a guy there who really cares.

I would also like to thank your Shop Steward Rosealie who has the passion of 40 people. We don't have to agree on everything, but your passion shows that you care. And that goes a long way during these tough times for Unionists!

Thanks again,
Eric K. Jackson
